What to know before you install it.
What result should I expect?
You should finish setup with one trusted place to capture ideas, see current projects, review open loops, and identify the next meaningful action. The system cannot do the work for you, but it should reduce the friction around deciding what to do.
Do I need Obsidian?
Yes. Made Visibly is delivered as an Obsidian vault built from normal Markdown and supporting files. Your notes remain readable outside Obsidian too.
Do I need Claude, Codex, or OpenCode?
No. The core vault works without AI. The paid edition adds instructions and workflows that make those tools more useful with your local context.
Is the Founding Edition a subscription?
No. The planned Founding Edition is a one-time $29 purchase at launch. The standard price is expected to be $49. Third-party AI or syncing services are billed separately by those providers.
Where do my notes live?
Inside a folder you control. Made Visibly does not need to host your vault. Anything you send to an AI provider is governed by that provider’s settings and policies.
Is this another generic “Second Brain” template?
No. The emphasis is not collecting everything. It is an execution system designed to move useful information toward projects, decisions, reviews, and next actions.
Will it work on my phone and Mac?
The vault uses normal Obsidian files and mobile-friendly workflows. Some advanced agent actions require desktop, while capture, review, and normal note use remain available on mobile.
